An Asian Post who was established in 19th century plays an important role in the development of a modern society with enhanced information flow in the country. Even though the Asian Post is seasoned in this area; however, it had experienced a tough time which was e-substitution trend in 2011. In 2014 & 2015, the Post office started to implement IT-based integrated postal services system and improve interfaces between counter operations and the back-end support functions.

 

 

The Task: 

The Asian Post wanted to advance the service quality to embrace enhanced Customer Experience. After re-organized IT infrastructure, this Post Office focused on customer engagement. Since customer needs are diverse, and customers are not easy to satisfy by simple service without communication. They had a display strategy and practice step by step.

  1. Customer 2nd Display: They chose 8” pole display as their counter 2nd display for showing amount and making information transparency ; therefore, customers can get the transaction data easier and faster at the very first time.
  2. Post officer operation: The Asian Post also adopted 15” &17” P-Cap Touch Monitor as their Operating equipment. Instead of switching mouse and keyboard to input, touch monitor is a better way to shorten the processing time and make the procedure smoothly.

 

The Results:

The Asian Post operates 122 post offices throughout the country In 2016. From 2014 to 2016, they have requested over 1,500 displays from Poindus. They can improve customer retention and engage customers without altering the operation procedure because they upgraded hardware equipment and made it effective. The Post is striving to perfect its current and future. Poindus has enabled the Post to reach farther and faster.
