Warranty

  • Poindus Systems offers 3-year limited warranty from the invoice date for the brand new products. All the key parts including touch screen, power supply, mainboard, and peripherals is covered during the warranty period. LCD panel is an exception with 1-year warranty.
  • Poindus Systems is not accountable for any product or material returned with physical damage, ignorant usage, illegal modification, missing serial numbers, missing parts and/or improper packaging. Warranty will be void in the cases as above.
  • Customer could claim DOA within 14 days from the date of receiving product.
  • Customer has to apply the RMA number before returning the defective products.
  • RMA number should be visible externally on the carton of all returned merchandise. Any returned merchandise without proper identification will be rejected.
  • Poindus Systems may release parts to the customers for replacement if a certified maintenance authorization is issued.

RMA Process

  • All return defective from customers must be authorized with Poindus Systems RMA number. Any return of defective units or parts without valid RMA numbers will not be accepted; they will be returned to the customer at the customer's cost without prior notice.
  • One RMA number is only the authorization for returning one unit of product; it is not an approval for repair or replacement. Please access Poindus' service mail: service@poindus.com or contact Poindus' customer service engineers to apply RMA number.
  • Please fill out background information and describe the problem/symptom in detail in "Problem Description". No vague entries such as "does not work" and "failure" will be helpful for repair progress.
  • The serial number of the whole set is required if only one defective part is returned for repair. Otherwise, the case will be regarded as out-of-warranty.
