June 07, 2015 – Poindus Systems Corp. announced last month the VariPOS 210 will be ready for mass production in early Q3. At a recent showing at Computex Taipei 2015, Poindus formally launched the system, billing it as a clever POS / ePOS solution featuring the flexibility of a POS tablet with rewards of a traditional point of sale terminal.
The stylish, lightweight and compact hybrid POS / ePOS terminal is capable of use without a connection to an electrical socket. Blending this feature with its light, compact frame, small business owners are now able to easily relocate their POS setup from one place to another, indoors or outdoors, and without requiring a connection to an electrical fixture. The system is powered by an easily replaceable power bank.
The system itself features the advanced power saving capabilities of the Intel BayTrail-T CR 3735F CPU, an advanced CPU allowing for mobile use.
The 14” TFT, PCAP IP66 touchscreen is encased in solid die-cast aluminum, not only providing the utmost durability and resistance to accidents, but also completing a compact, elegant appearance. While functionality is a major feature, its presence projects a feeling of class.
